Winter Season 2019
January 7th - March 7th
Open to: 4TH - 12th Grade
The winter season is a 10 week program consisting of one lacrosse session per week that starts in January. Indoor balls are used and the only equipment needed is a lacrosse stick. Practices will be filled with fitness, skill building drills, and game variations to help players prepare for the upcoming spring season.
Chelsea-based participants will practice at the Mary Burke Recreation Complex in Chelsea, Dorchester-based participants will practice at the Melnea Cass Recreation Complex in Roxbury. Practices will be held from 6-7:30pm on either Mon, Tues, Wed, or Thursday evening. Permits will be confirmed in November and all registered families will be updated via email once the schedule is set.
Registration Information
All returning participants at MetroLacrosse/Harlem Lacrosse-Boston have been emailed the current registration link for the upcoming winter season. We only have a few spots open at each age group for new participants, which is why we have not posted the 2019 registration form here. If you are interested in participating with us this winter and have no received the registration link, please email Pat Cronin directly at CoachPat@harlemlacrosse.com.
Fall Season (registration closed)
September 10th - November 1st
The MetroLacrosse fall lacrosse season is designed for players that are new to the sport of lacrosse to learn the fundamental stick skills and have a fun experience learning how to play the game, and for current MetroLacrosse participants to continue improving their skills in the off-season. The fall season runs from the first week of September through October, and registration for the fall season opens in June.
Boys and Girls Youth Fall Season (3rd-8th grade)
Fall season is 7 week long with practices twice per week as well as 2 Saturday morning events (games or clinics with a local college). Sessions are held at your local field on Tuesday and Thursday in Dorchester under the lights at Ronan Park (135 Adams Street) and on Monday and Wednesday in Chelsea. This is a great chance for new participants to learn the basics of the game and for returners to sharpen their skills!
