SummerBounce is our annual overnight summer camp for participants that are currently in the 6th-11th grade. A highlight of the MetroLacrosse calendar every year, Bounce is hosted at the New Hampton School in New Hampshire and features boys and girls from other urban lacrosse programs across the country in addition to our players from Boston and Chelsea.
Players are selected by their programs to attend camp based on their commitment throughout the spring season, effort during practices and games, willingness to step out of their comfort zone, and their lacrosse skills. Once players have been selected by their home program and register online (they will receive the link directly from their coaches), they must also have these three forms signed by a parent/guardian:
MetroLacrosse will provide summer day programming for 1 week during the month of July. The days will consist of lacrosse sessions to improve the skill and fitness of participants and classroom sessions to allow the participants to explore the topics of leadership, health and nutrition, and community service. A healthy lunch will be provided to participants. Summer LacrosseFIT is a great way for kids to improve their lacrosse skills and stay active through the summer while developing strong relationships with peers and mentors.
